I havn’t until now put my banner link on here so here it is.

HED (head up display)

HUD’s or Head-up-displays have become much more common within our day to day lives. for example from computer games to the .rec and play interfaces on peripherals such as camcorders and so on that it’s almost as if we feel whatever it is we need some kind of information based indicator to show us around. Even implimentations with old gaming consoles such as the “VR boy” or at least I think it was called that, I had one when I was a kid and it was basically a red piece of transparent plastic on a headset with a wired controller and the games came on slides like the old cheap handheld games you used to get with racing and such where you pretty much dodged the cars, but the idea was there for general use and gaming within day to day use.
The idea as well of virtual reality with this goes in hand in hang.

An interesting article like this of which now the interfaces done seem so hitech but a little oldschool, for example looking at the wii now the interface for the software is already their and now doesnt even need to be wired as the motion detection is good enough to support this, from the wii to the tv the only thing missing is the headset. but as well its more a question of do we need a headset or can we just use a really big plasma tv.
In a nutshell. Take the wiimote and make it into a set of gloves. And replace the headset with a massive screen, and their you have it your more up to date VR/HUD interface.
In a way the same way the screen works in minority report….minus the transparent screen

Epic Fail!

For whatever reason my bluehost account just wont display my website even though it’s all been ftp’d correctly and the code is flawless….. what’s with that?

Leifwildman.com is almost complete!

The css is complete the html is done, now just waiting to figure out how to ftp this thing through coda (almost figured out) and then it will be online.

The font is underway as soon as i get some new bits for it.
